At Knox Details we specialize in paint protection film aka clear bra, paint correction, ceramic coatings and window tint.

Knox Details was founded by Tim Buxton in his father’s garage in 2010, from there Knox Details has grown into Knoxville’s premier destination for all things protection for your vehicle.

CERAMIC COATING

Our professional grade ceramic coatings are applied to the exterior surfaces of the vehicle after careful preparation. Ceramic coatings bond with the exterior surfaces of the vehicle to form an additional layer of defense against the elements; protection from UV rays, oxidation, insect contaminants and environmental pollutants. The result is a beautiful ultra-slick hydrophobic high gloss surface that and easy to clean and lasts for years with proper maintenance.

WINDOW TINT

We offer top-quality XPEL PRIME XR PLUS™, XPEL PRIME XR™ and PRIME CS™ window tint films for superior heat rejection, UV protection, and glare reduction. Our ceramic particle technology effectively filters out the sun’s infrared radiation, keeping your interior cool and improving fuel efficiency. Both window tint films are recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation as effective UV protectants and do not interfere with radio, cellular, or Bluetooth signals.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM

Protect your vehicle’s paint from rock chips and road hazards with our high-quality certified Paint Protection Film (Clear Bra) installation services. Our dedicated, full-time certified installers use the highest quality films backed by industry-leading warranties. Choose from XPEL Ultimate Plus 8 mil, upgrade to XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 mil film to provide over 30% more cushion for your vehicle’s paintwork or XPEL STEALTH to protect your factory satin finish or change the look of your vehicle completely. We cut the kits for your vehicle in-house using a state-of-the-art plotter and the finest software suite available, ensuring a clean install that doesn’t have to be cut on the car.

I was very impressed with Knox Details. My car looks better then expected. My car is 10 yrs old and getting traded in within a couple years. I didn’t want to sink a bunch of money into it, so I went with a cheaper service. Yes, there are still defects,  but the car looks better than I thought it would. Defects I expected to be noticeable are not. Defects I expected to be very visible are there because I know to look for them. I am very happy with the service I received. Jordan even went above and beyond on an unrelated issue. As someone that has worked in customer service for 20+ years, I was impressed.
